Futurity Dogs

The Futurity dogs are in. First is Skylyne’s O”Clocki Somewhere, then Sanbob’s Hot Tamale Witmer, Karizma’s Cacique of Inquest, Winsome’s Ray Bearone V Ekolan, Rambo Von Blebtreu, Skylyne’s Walk The Line, Ch Tro’s Johan Santana V Marquis, Welove Du Chien’s Last Hurrah, Winsome’s Des Bearado, Greenleaf’s Ion Laser V Surigo, and Kaleef’s Seatle Slew.

I saw DD and also Bob Gish. Jimmy was at the end of the ring, but I didn’t have a chance to talk to him.

Georgie is in the middles with Hot Tamale, and a good looking Black and Tan. Bob Lindsey is in front of me, but I don’t want to yell at him to get out of the way. I miss Leslie, and wish she were here, but I understand she has other things to do. There Georgie goes down and back, and I have the best seat in the house. I see Olivia in the ring with Cacique, and a loose lead temperament test, not problem. Stackes up well, I love the depth of body.

Bob Dressher, (The Voice of the National) has a computer with no air card, and I have an air card and no computer.

WOW, that is a dog that can move. The crowd loves him too.

Now Morris is in the middle with Ray Bearone. I haven’t seen Frank or Kris yet, but I hope they are here. I did see Joe Bahari and he looks as young as ever. Liz and Tedi are laughing.

Next the first four stand out there, and Michele looks them over, each getting a good look. He takes them around, and now the next four.

There they go, 5’Oclock Somewhere, (what a great name, in the lead. Michele looks and makes a note, and now the next four, with Scottie in front. Down and Back, not very exciting, and nothing to cause any concern, and Rambo goes around. The far side is a white wall, with a yellow strip on the ground. I am sure it is a hockey thing.

Now Walk The Line. Diane Brown on the lead, and talk about someone who never gets older. She looks like she did 20 years ago.

Now it is Johan Satana, a nice young black and tan.

Here comes Kent with Last Hurrah, a son of All U Can, I have heard this is a nice dog, and he is fired up. No problem with the temperament test. Erin Nellis just came by, and I did get to “howdy” with Rita, and she also doesn’t age a day, year to year.

Joanna Rand is talking to people over at the other side of the ring. Last Hurrah is a good one.

Now the four line up, and Michael looks them over, and goes to the front of the line looks them over and walks down the line, and now takes out his note pad and sends them around, and there they go. It is very very very quiet and they line up again and Michael looks them over, and sends them to the end of the ring. He looks at them all the way around, and now the last four line up.

In front is Bill Tank, Jim_Sana’s Josh Turnbear V Winsome with Jeff Pyle, next is Greenleaf’s Iop Laser, then Kaleef’s Seatle Slew Campeon with JR and then Winsomes’ Des Bearado. Bill sets up Josh. And there he goes around.

Jimmie is talking to Dave Rinke, a lot of gray hair, and that on only one of them. Now Jeff is in the middle and a good looking young looking dog.

Now JR with Seatle Slew. There they go.

It is now Des Bearado with Christy Heiman. Nice moving dog. They line up, and Michele talked to Bill and looks them over, and is looking at each of them. And another trip around. I love Bob’s computer, it is much better than mine. I wonder if he would notice if I stole it? I do like Chrity’s dog, great style.

He pulls 5 O’Clock, then Cacque, next is Ray Bearone, (all in order), and he looks at his notes,a nd pulls Walk The Line and then Last Hurrah, and Josh together, and sends them back against the wall. The off group of six takes a lap. Six at the front.

They are still in order, and the first three go around and now the second four, and now the crowd comes alive. I do like the dog Kent has, and also Bill’s. Now Michele goes to them, and starts to place them, First is Olivia with Cacque, second is Ray Bearone, then Last Hurrrah, and Michele takes the other four around to find his next one. Kent is yelling at the double handler, and Michele doesn’t pull another, and takes his first three around. He repeats the temperament test. And the crowd does have a favorite. There are the best three. Michele walks to the center and takies them around, he crowches down and looks them over and now he calls for Cacique to go down and back. Good and clean, and might win it. He stands and Donna is behind me yelling, and saying nice things. Olivia is giving directions to her Mom, and the crowd does love that dog, lots of easy moving and slow. I agree. Donna yells, “What a good boy.”

Now Morris with Ray Bearone. Another good one, and what a great head. Very alert, and the look I love on a shepherd. I saw him in California, and loved him then, but he has matured, and is even better now. And there he goes, some crown resonse, and he moves easy, but a bit fast for Michele. He covers the ground.

Kent now takes Last Hurrah down and back and I hear Jeff behind me. What a look in those eyes, and Kent tell him where to go, and in about that tone. The crowd loves that one, and he is young but is going to be a big winner, maybe today. He does move.

Michele puts him in front. Easy call. Now he tells them to stand, and Dexter, (Last Hurrah) stands like a statue. Michele looks them over from the back and says “Once around and nice and easy” and NOW THE CROWD”.

IT’S DEXTER!
