6-9 Puppy Dogs

A correction to the previous class (4-6 beginner puppies).  There were only 2 dogs shown; so the two out of order at the top were the males.  The Best of 4-6 Beginner Puppy was the male Elite Design Avalon Tokaye (#313); Best Opposite was Riverrock's Starlett O'Hara (#309).

Evan stepped away agin (saying hi to everyone we see only once a year).  The regular part of the show is starting with the 6-9 puppy dogs; 8 have walked in the ring.  Bob gives them all a look, and then once around as a group.  We are still figuring out Bob Slay's ring routine.  He first watched the entire group; then watched each individually on a loose lead.  He is now starting the individuals.  First up is Leslie with California Dreamin.  Some nice crowd support.  Next is JoAnne with No Need to Say Anything More.

Evan Back. I just got a call from Bob, who is watching on the video. He liked my voice on the announcer.   We were just told the catalogs were all wrong.  Frank is here ad told me he is going to move the ring over next to the bleachers. Since it was set up, they moved the bleachers.

One Glove Summer is here to talk to us.  Trish Wylie fell out of a golf cart, and remains in a coma.  I had to announce she would not be back to the National.

The individuals are done and he has not moved anyone anyone yet.  He moved in front California Dreaming then I Like Ike and Jacksondel next and Emerson in fourth.  There they go. That is a good looking group. Now he is looking at "the rest" and I see what he is doing,a nd four in this group, and he is not impressed.

Now he takes the first group with Leslie in fron then Diane, Jr and Kent. The way I said above.  Leslie stays in front and again, the last four.  Leslie is yelling at her double handler, and they stack them up.  He sents Leslie up front and now takes Kent with Emerson into second.  Off they go with Leslie leading, Kent, Diane and JR.  Lots of noise.   Now Down and Back and he takes Leslie again.  Now on to Kent. He gets some cheers.  Bob looks over the first two, and takes some time.  They stack and now he moves to Diane and JR.  He goes to the front and looks at each of the first two head on, but none of the others and says to take them. Off goes Leslie and Kent.  He moves Everson up front and takes them again, He looks and looks and Kent slows down and he puts them up that way.  Emerson in front California Dreaming then I Like Ike and then Jacksonville, and that's the way it goes.

Diane slips and falls, but looks great doing it.
