Bred By Bitches

Dan has a small group to work with, but some nice bitches.  It is cold in this building today, and I am going to type faster to warm up my hands.  I was pleased to see Jack Newton’s Dog win, but there are a lot of people missing, maybe they will be here tomorrow.  I am looking for the famous Linda Battistoni, and Flower Boy who are both supposed to be in tonight. I don’t see Jack Newton, and I thin he isn’t coming this year.  I know Vivian and Tom Bown aren’t coming but Paula just stopped by with Diana, and I understand that Rally is freezing in the other building.

While I am fooling around and talking to everyone, Dan is continuing to judge.  He is on the second group of four and there they go around the ring.  Now he tells them to leave out three of them, and he brings back Holiday on Ice and keeps her with the others, and takes the first three, with Christina, (an unknown handler) and Joann and puts Joanne in second.  They are taking a lunch break after the Bred By Dog class. They want to try to break the record of the first day for the longest day of the national.   If we can just make it to midnight it will set a record we can talk about for years to come. A noble endevor.

And the bitches contineu to circle the ring, and Al Martin is in there with a bitch as is Tiffany, Kent, and Lorrie Hathaway Bob has no new jokes, so I told him to not talk to me for a while. Tony failed to show up today, so it is even quiet in the booth.  Ray Johnson came by to say hello and talk a bit.

Dan continues to look at bitches and do individuals. He is doing his part to try to extend the time.  Everyone is pitching in and trying to help.  A little crowd reaction now to Oak’s dog, and Dan takes him around.   The crowd is behind that dog. Pam O’Dell was telling me about driving out with the motor home. Sounds like an adventure.

Dan has one more bitch to go, then down to the important stuff.  I did get to talk to Frank Martello and not so much Carolyn yet, but the day is young.

Now it is time, and he has them arranged and he brings back the other bitches and he has Kent in front then Lorie and then Eric and he takes the other four around with Christina Joann, and two others.  And now he looks them over, and I suspect that he is going to place them, and he puts Kent in front, then Christina, then Lori and he seems to be having a problem finding a fourth so he leaves them the way they are.   He takes the last four around to find one and Joanne’s bitch looks good. He watches them and tells them to stand back and looks at his first three again.   Dan tells them to take it around and there go the first two, Kent and Christina, and they both look good, and then he says to take the third one too.  She goes by herself, and that is a nice bitch and Lori does a good job as always and that’s how it is. First Anne-Isle’s Heiress V Ken-Lyn Kaleef, second MMM MMM Good of Edan, third of Stonewal’s Cherry Cordial, fourth was (or is) Norhaus Gabrielle of Dream Come True. On to Bred By Dogs.
