First post from St. Louis

Here we are in St. Louis. We just flew in, and boy are my arms tired.

We got to the motel, checked in, saw the Gheleris and went over to the arena. We were on the same flight with Twyla, she finished judging in Atlanta and returned home just in time to get here.

The arena looks great. The sod is down, and Jerry Guzman was standing with Karen Taylor. Jerry said they were supposed to get 15 minutes each evening to work the dogs, but he got thrown out already. I did get to talk to Nancy Nellis, she and Erin were trying to finish the last details so I waved at Kent, said hello to a few others, and we went shopping. At the store, Snucks, (I kid you not, that is the name), we ran into more shepherd people, and then back to the motel for dinner, some rest and on to the show tomorrow.

So far nothing terrible has happened.   I am exhausted from the trial, lost 10 pounds and need some rest, so I will do the List, then be back to post tomorrow.  Excitement is in the air, and it smells like fabric softener.  Maybe it is just the sheets.
