Just before lunch with bitches in the ring

There is a break, but Dan is back to judge the second class. Linda Kury is here talking about the presentation class, and Cappy came by to talk.  I also am looking at the Hunte petition, and Karen Wagner is coming up now.  I see that Sue Wiener is here, and Tony is taking a break, but Bob Dresser is still here, so he knows all the new jokes. I did say hello to Gail Sprock this morning, and she looks just great. Either I am going crazy, (shut up Paul) or she looks better every year.  Soe Godek is sitting waiting fo rthe next class and there goes Jonie Intersemone, and I see that Reggie has a dog to show, and the class in the ring looks small if that is all of them.  Helen Franklin sitting with me. She is too warm, it is starting to heat up in the arena. I think they need air, but it is getting colder outside.  Val Manning came by and Big Dave is standing a laugh with us all, as he always does. Joan Segro was here, and so was John Vaught.  Ann came by to correct here puppy name, it is Jagan-Karagin’s Happysaysitall.  That makes more sense.  Ann says she is having a lot of fun, and it sure looks like it. I see JR outside the ring, and everyone seems to have settled in, and taking a break.   Donn Calabrese came by and gave us a fantastic picture of Chyna, in silouette.  Karen Wagner helped me spell that;.  Tedi is following Gail Sprock and bob and I are amazed how few names we can remember, but he did remember Tedi, and so did I.

Dan is in the middle of th ring, and going over another puppy.  Bart Bartly is talking to Kevin Renolds, and I also saw Fred Migliore walking around looking for someone to talk to him.  Peter Cassiopia came by, and so far, nothing bad seems to have happened at the nationl.

Lew Bunch is in a port coat and looking very dapper, and every bit a Prestident.  He seems to have done a great job the first year, and the National seems to be going on in a good manner. Penny from New York is here and says to say hello to all the PP people.  She is here with Linda Selman, and she is at the judges seminar.   Evidently Penny was on the plane with Norma and evidently she sang all the way, (Norma).   Channing Sheets came by, and looks ready to show. That brings up a point.

If you run an ad in the Review just before the National, and you want to say who the judges were, and if you are showing that dog in the Specials class, do not leave out the judge who finished the dog, if that judge is judging the National that year and doing the Specials.  I don’t mean anyone in particular, I am just saying what I have learned.

There goes Dania and now Fred M. is walking by.  Joe Bahari is over next to us, and I see dave and Jan Coleman.

And, Dan is still judging the class but now the dogs are back in the ring with Jamie. They are staggering the classed.  Liz Oster is leading with Kent, then Patty and Jeff Pyle is in fourth. Dan takes the rest of the class, bring sout Diane Brown Cristie Hyman and is standing looking at the six he has left.  He sets Cristy and Diane behind and takes his first four.  Jamie starts her individuals, and the crowd is getting into it.  Even with half a ring, it is good size, and takes some work to pass. Liz looks like she could run all day, and Kent is pushing her, within the rules.  Dan tells them to all go together, with Kent in front.  And Dan watches them all, walks to the front, and puts Liz up again. The crowd likes that. I see jumping and cheering, and Dan walks to the front and looks at the heads and down the line, and says, take them around.  There they go, Liz, Kent, Patty and Jeff, dan looks and walks towards them ,and says to wait.  He is looking at his last four, and he moves Diane to third and Jeff to fourth.  He is tlling them to slow down, and take it easy, and Jamie is still doing individuals on her first group. There they go, and Liz is in front of the last four, the first two standing off to the side. Dan calls them that way, and first is Signatures Miami V Kridler, second is Kaleef-Jaepaul Sor Juana, third is Bee Gee’s U Got The Look V Franken, anf fourth is Cinosam’s Branhaus.

Nancy Hubble came by to say hello, and I see Jeff Mobeus watching and now on to the dogs with the individuals still going on. Daphane came by to tell John what to do.  Diana Banana just brought Paula by to say hello, and so I will send this, and more to come.
